Friendly, courteous staff. Efficient and “on time”. Young Dr May is great, but I’m sure his father has a similar approach to patient care.

Great caring staff

One of the perks of living in a small-ish town is having a dentist that you can depend on. I lost a veneer at dinner last night and Dr. May put it all right on short notice. They are the best!

To the staff and younger Dr. May, you are truly kind and make each visit relaxing, pleasant and each procedure is handled in a gentle manner just as is stated in the name. The office got me in an hour earlier than scheduled. Great visit! Chelsea gave a thorough cleaning and sent me on my way.

My husband and I relocated to Port Saint Joe . I was looking for a new dentists instead of driving back to Georgia to my hometown Dentist. Walked into Dr May‘s office last week and absolutely was happy with Dr May’s office. Very nice & friendly staff.

Gracious, friendly and professional staff. State of the art equipment. Comfortable, attractive office, lobby and treatment rooms. My hygienist was so nice, and Dan May was friendly, warm but still efficient and informative. Costs are reasonable, in line with national averages.

I have had exceptional care from both dentists and their staff. Over the years I have had so many bad dental experiences but that has not been the case since changing to Dr May’s office a year ago. I will continue using them and highly recommend them!

This was the best experience I’ve ever had with a dentist! As a snowbird away from my regular dentist, I had an implant fail and need to be removed. Julie was incredibly helpful and kind and worked me in to the schedule quickly. Dr. May performed the extraction with absolutely no pain and was totally pleasant and professional. I felt completely at ease in his hands with what I was expecting to be an unpleasant experience. Couldn’t have asked for better!

Dr May’s office is very professional and caring. Aneilia does an excellent job cleaning my teeth. The office uses advanced technology to treat and educate me on dental issues. I highly recommend Dr. May’s dental clinic.

I have severe dental anxiety and this office works with their patients to make sure they are comfortable. I had a root canal that was the easiest one I’ve ever had! No pain and after it was over I felt great! After the root canal, they put a temporary crown on and then several weeks later I went back to get the final. I will say this was the easiest and least stressful of any root canal or crown I’ve ever had. The office staff is very friendly and the Docs are awesome! I highly recommend this office!

By far the best dentist I’ve ever been too. Dr. May is great, And the dental assistance and hygienist are very knowledgeable. I got two root canals and a crown with zero pain during the entire procedure. Thankfully, they got me in last minute right before the holidays! I highly recommend!

I highly recommend Dr. Daniel May in Port St. Joe, FL. His office facility, staff, “state of the art” equipment, and personal skill were the best I have ever experienced in my 71 years of life. I felt totally relaxed and confident in the service he provided for me today. He promised no pain; and he delivered exactly that explaining each move as my root canal proceeded. I really appreciated their prompt and courteous attention that I was given.

At 72, I have lived in a half dozen of the biggest cities in the US. Nothing has ever come close to the quality of service and treatment that I have received in the last 20+ years from Dr. May and staff. Attention to detail, genuine concern for my allergies to pain, and willingness to be available, sometimes on short notice, to my family, friends, and my own employees - these are all the hallmarks of an office that is truly committed to being the best there is in their field. I can't say enough good things about my friends at Dr. may's office.

Friendly staff

New hygienist, Chelsea, is very good and knowledgeable. I left with very clean teeth and a lot of good information. Dr. May has some excellent hygienists on staff. Select from any and you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely excellent practice. I moved here from larger city and was so glad to find the practice.I have seen both Dr. Mays-senior and younger-both are excellent, painless and perfectionists. I have had some major work performed. The staff are all very nice, professional, and timely. The work is beautiful and the costs reasonable. I trust this practice and highly recommend.

This dentistry lied . Beware !! Would double check this place . Guess times are hard and they are up charging before holidays . Won’t give them my money

I’m sure it’s a nice place if they get to you. I was there ten minutes early for them to be late. Just disrespectful. I had to take off work for this.

My dental work is always done in a very professional and caring manner. Abelia is always so thoughtful and pleasant. It is as though my appointment is for a visit instead of a cleaning procedure. I like the way she uses the suction tool to keep my mouth from being too full of liquid. I never think I will be overwhelmed. My teeth feel clean and polished when Abelia finishes. I am so fortunate to have found such a top-notch dental practice.

The office of Dr May worked me in immediately without being an existing patient to exam a tooth that was hurting. Dr May identified the issue and set a plan in place to take care of the problem. Great service!!

This procedure was a biteguard/nightguard/splint impression visit. Executed all digitally, no "gel" impressions. Awaiting the actual guard for fitting. The dental staff were very competent and efficient. I would recommend, but then as an engineer I'm jaded. :^)

I was so miserable and email Dr. Mays office and by 9 am the next morning I had a 3:30 appointment! So far my first visit was great! One stop shop and no referring to other dentist out of town!

Our whole experience has been amazing. The doctor and staff are so nice and helpful. I was on vacation and had a toothache they got me in same day and did a procedure the next. Definitely a 5 star practice. We wish we lived here, they would be our Dentist.

I was on vacation and had a filling fall out and the office worked me in same day. Very professional and helpful from answering the phone until I left the office. Dr. May came up with a treatment plan and finished the work same day. Would definitely recommend!

Chipped a crown on a Friday and my old dentist couldn't see me until Monday and for a consult only. I was informed it was going to cost me $750.00, needed the payment up front and would be scheduled 4 months later. I called Dr May's office that same day and explained to Scott what was going on. He scheduled me for the next day for a cleaning ( I was due) and to look at the tooth in question. Crown was broken off and they would work me in on that Thursday. The entire experience was straight forward and reassuring. Excellent job on cleaning my teeth. Highly recommend. Found my new dentist for the family!

I have been going to Dr Mays office since 2005. The staff is wonderful! Gretchen and Doug have a nice welcoming smile when you arrive and Anealia is my hygienist and has always been friendly, patient and gentle. Her expertise is amazing. Dr. May, what can you say, he is the best dentist I've ever seen! He strives to make his patients feel calm, relaxed and happy with the care they get. Becky is very attentive and always kind and to top it off she always puts vaseline on my mouth to prevent them from cracking when I have work done. My youngest daughter has been going here her whole life and now as an adult she and her husband go. I have enjoyed my coffee mug and I still have my nice beach cooler bag for referrals I sent their way. This part is updated from the comment above. Today was my first time back since I was out of state for a few years. It was like coming home but with a few new faces like Hannah instead of Gretchen at the front desk and Caitlin who took care of my husband’s dental work today. He was pleased with his services and with Julie who checked him out. I was very pleased to see my original hygienist Anealia, welcomed with a hug. We of course got caught up and she did her amazing work as before. To top off today I did get to see the rare appearance of Dr. F May! I was told he comes in a few times maybe a week and I got lucky. Thank you for all the wonderful years and service you do to keep me healthy. 🥰

From the front desk to checking out pure professionalism. Dr. May definitely means it when he says no pain. I would highly recommend him if you a nervous nilly about going to the dentist.

Explained the procedure thoroughly to me got the job done fast no pain and has a great staff

I was seen very promptly. The XRays were done quickly and did not hurt. Linda did a great job of cleaning and ways to help clean between two teeth. If that does not fix the problem, Dr. MAY reviewed the XRays and suggested a permanent solution. I highly encourage you to visit Dr. May's Dental Office.

Great operation and well practiced team. Slipped me in to their busy schedule, even though I’m not their patient, for a failed crown. Practitioners made sure event was completely painless and I was as comfortable as possible. Dr. Daniel May did a followup call after hours…I didn’t answer because I was fishing! These folks are good AND they care.
